Easter Term 2017 - The Frozen Kingdom

Welcome to the planet’s coldest lands...vast wilds, hostile territories, incredibly beautiful yet often deadly. Take shelter from the elements or fall prey to icy winds and deepest chill. Trek bravely and valiantly across treacherous terrain to the ends of the Earth, treading deep in snow or pulled by a team of mighty sled dogs.

Be alert, for magnificent mammals roaming these lands, sometimes hungry or fresh for a fight. Perhaps a hungry polar bear or an arctic fox; hunting rodents as swiftly as the wind!

Research fact and figures of climate, temperature, habitats and ecosystems and wonder at the Northern lights.

Become part of an Antarctic rescue team, braving elements to rescue passengers from a ship struck by a deadly iceberg.

Spring Term 2017

Our theme for this term are the Tudors. We will learn about the Battle of Bosworth, Henry Tudor's links with Wales, the marriages of Henry VIII as well as comparing the lives of the Tudors with our lives today. Who knows we might even get a change to interview Henry VIII himself?

Thanksgiving Service

The class took part in the very successful Thanksgiving Service at the church. The food we collected were donated to a local food bank in Cardigan.

Autumn Term
